As an Independent Fostering Agency our service is inspected by Ofsted and we are dedicated to ensuring that every child placed with our foster carers has a voice and that the foster placement comprehensively meets their needs and expectations.
Ofsted have released their findings of the Children’s Social care questionnaires 2016. It is reassuring that Ofsted’s finding reports that 92% of children feel that they are looked after well by their foster carers and 93% feel safe in their foster home. The report asks some pertinent questions from children and young people, these provide us an opportunity to reflect and improve upon our own services.
We have a number of tools to ensure that the children and young people placed with our foster carers have a voice, and a means of having their voice heard. We are persistent in ensuring that this happens and children and young people have countless opportunity to share their views and experiences with us at an organisational level.
