Sunbeam Fostering Agency is looking to appoint a Support Worker to provide direct support to looked after children, young people and foster carers. This post will involve jointly working with social workers and foster carers on promoting children’s development as well as supervising contact sessions with birth parents and other involved parties. The Support Worker will be assisting with recruitment of high quality and committed foster carers attending different events and providing support for other marketing activities. The successful candidate will be based in Coventry covering surrounding areas.
The candidates should have a minimum of 2 A levels or equivalent with experience of working with children in the care system, clean UK driving licence and use of a car.
