Fostering allowance

As a foster carer, you will receive fostering allowance which normally covers things like food, clothing, transportation, pocket money, outings, and personal household expenses, etc. Sunbeam offers up to £650 fostering allowance per child per week depending on children’s needs. Additionally, we give generous bonuses and foster carers receive other benefits while fostering with Sunbeam.

    Process of becoming a foster carer

    The process of foster a  child is very simple and smooth. Sunbeam staff will be there to help and support you throughout the process. When you apply to become a foster carer, part of your application will ask what age groups you would like to be considered to look after. You will receive full support at all stages and help with anything you are unsure of.
