This year, per our discussion and suggestions from our Sunbeam foster carers, we took our children to the sunny seaside destination of Weston Super Mare. Coaches were booked from three different collection points across the Midlands to ensure all of our foster carers had the opportunity to attend. On arrival, families were given the option to explore the popular tourist town with many of the children visiting the Grand Pier to try their luck at some of the Arcades and fairground attractions. Later, everybody congregated together on the beach where we enjoyed fish and chips, building sandcastles and paddling in the sea. The adults even managed to do a spot of sunbathing. With something for everybody from donkey rides to quaint seaside cafes, this year’s summer trip was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. Many thanks to all those who attended.
