Children’s Support Group on 15th February 2018

On 15th February 2018 a children’s support group was held at our Sunbeam Resource Centre in Walthamstow. It was a great turnout, with 8 young people and 5 carers!

The group discussed about the importance of leisure activities in children and young people’s lives. Foster carers and young people were given leaflets about the Capital Cricket Club and London Tigers – both registered charities offering an array of leisure and sports activities to families across London. They run weekly session on football, cricket, indoor activities, youth clubs, etc. for both boys as well as girls. Young people showed keen interest in joining the service in their local area.

Afterwards, everyone enjoyed pizza, songs were sang and acrobatic skills were performed from two of our young people. It was a great way to end the day!
