Foster Carers End of Year Awards 2019 – Celebrating 20 Years of Success!

Sunbeam Fostering Agency annual End of Year Celebrations took place on Friday 6^th December 2019 at Meridian Grand. The evening was a great success, with over 250 guests who attended enjoying the evenings celebrations and the outstanding efforts and achievements of our foster carers this year. For Sunbeam Fostering Agency, this year has been extra special as we celebrated 20 years of Sunbeam and its success!

The evening was a great opportunity for our team members and foster carers to meet one another and celebrate together. It provided the opportunity for our team members to thank all our foster carers for their ongoing support and dedication, providing outstanding care to all the children and young people looked after.

To show our appreciation, we made some very special awards and acknowledgements during the evening with Foster Carers receiving our Long Service Award, who have completed over 10 years of service with Sunbeam. We also awarded foster carers with our Exceptional Contribution to fostering, these awards recognise those who have gone above and beyond all expectations to care and support our children and young people. Exceptional Contribution Awards given out, this is a testament of the dedication, hard work and commitment our foster carers give to the children and young people they care for. Staff members also received an award for their Outstanding Contributions.

Making this year’s event special, the entire night was captured by Visionary Filming Ltd. We also had a fun Photo booth from Party Spirit Photo booth, providing pictures for our foster carers to create memorable moments to take away with them. The outstanding flowers and flower wall was created by VRB (Violets R Blue). We also had a chocolate fountain treat for everyone to enjoy created by Party Giant UK. Lastly to conclude the evening we had DJ Rando and Ministry of Dhol for entertainment.

Thank you to all those who attended the evening and Congratulations to those who received an award this year. A special thank you to our team members and foster carers for making 2019 another successful and inspiring year for us. We are proud to be celebrating 20 years of success.
