Karen Thorn’s experience of Going to the panel

Karen Thorn’s experience of Going to the panel

What a nerve wrecking time mixed with excitement.  I was so nervous as I didn’t know what to expect at all.  I had a vision of me sitting in front of a row of people behind a long desk being judged. I was excited as the extent of this could be life changing for me in such a great way but terrified that I wouldn’t get approved.  Wow what a lovely experience it was though. Everyone sitting around a circular table, all introducing themselves and they were all so friendly. It was so informal and they made me feel relaxed and welcome. I truly needn’t have worried at all.  I couldn’t have imagined it to be more opposite of what I thought it would be.

Getting approved was just amazing. The panel put themselves out so much for me. When they told me that I had been approved, well I just cried. I was an emotional wreck and was so happy that I just couldn’t hold back my very, very, happy tears. It felt like I’d won the lottery tenfold.
