Wardown Park – Luton

Wardown Park is situated on the River Lea in Luton. The Park has various sporting facilities and is home to the Wardown Park Museum, with plenty of garden grounds for you and your family to explore. Do your children have a love for animals? If so, Woodside Animal Farm and Leisure Park could be the perfect day out for your family! Gulliver’s Land Theme Park Resort – Milton Keynes

For an action-packed day out, you could visit Gulliver’s Land Theme Park Resort. The theme park is filled with different rides suitable for a wide range of ages. The Park also has places to eat, play areas and plenty more. The Park is in Milton Keynes with easy access to public transport, the park also has its own car park. Our Sunbeam Pride team recently took a trip with our foster carers, children and young people to Gulliver’s Land Theme Park Resort, and everybody enjoyed the day! Snozone – Milton Keynes

Snozone is an indoor snow slope offering skiing and snow boarding lessons for children and young people. You could watch your children and young people play on the slopes or you could all get involved together. Snozone is Milton Keynes is conveniently located at the Xscape centre just a few minutes from Junction 14 of the M1. The Canal Museum, Stoke Bruerne – Northamptonshire

The Canal Museum at Stoke Bruerne, is a canal museum located next to the Grand Union Canal just south of the Blisworth Tunnel, near the village of Stoke Bruerne in Northamptonshire. It is about 10 miles north of Milton Keynes and 7 miles south of Northampton near junction 15 of the M1 motorway. The Canal Museum offers a fascinating insight into the rich waterway heritage of Stoke Bruerne and the Grand Union Canal and the people that lived and worked on them. Bike Tours – Cambridge

Cambridge Bike Tours offers guided cycle tours around some of the city’s main attractions, such as King’s College Chapel. You’ll ride at an easy pace, in a small group. Bikes are provided for children aged 6 and over. The tour is located on 6 Elm Street, Cambridge CB1 1EJ. This is a fantastic day out full of exercise and beautiful scenic routes.
