Sunbeam’s Funday for the South Central region was held at the Unique Outdoors situated in Reading, The event was tailored specifically for Foster Carers, children and the young people in our care. They all enjoyed a range of activities including archery, laser combat and ball games. Sunbeam’s Registered Manager, Team Leader and Supervising Social Workers were part of the event, this provided an opportunity for Foster Carers, children and our young people to spend time with Sunbeams senior managers. Everyone enjoyed archery lessons and practice sessions first and then after lunch it was more action packed outdoor laser combat in-store for us and two teams fought for their survival in the jungle. This fun event was a great opportunity for children, foster carers, supervising social workers and managers to come together and spend time together. There was good positive response everyone as one young person commented “ great fun and the fun of the year”.
