Foster Care Fortnight 2021

Welcome to Foster Care Fortnight 2021! We are excited to announce that we will be showing our support and taking part in raising awareness around fostering and the need for more foster carers. This year’s theme is all about #WhyWeCare. At Sunbeam Fostering Agency, we care for the safety and welfare of all our children and young people, ensuring that they have the most positive outcomes as possible with the support and guidance from their foster carers. Although the past year has had a challenging impact on everyone, due to Covid-19 we are continuing to support our fantastic foster carers and all outcomes and operate as normal. Although we have had to move our support groups and events virtually, our high-quality standards have continued. We look forward until we can all meet again!

Throughout the Foster Care Fortnight campaign, we will be getting involved each day on our social media platforms. We have a theme for each day that everyone can get involved with. We will be sharing a range of different medias, from stories and written pieces to videos and an array of different graphics. We want to help raise as much awareness around the campaign and show our appreciation to our foster carers for their continuous hard work and dedication, especially through these difficult times.
