Fostering in Nottingham and Surrounding Area
Are you looking for a way to make a real difference in someone’s life? Do you have the compassion, patience, and commitment to offer a child the love and stability they deserve? If so, becoming a foster carer with Sunbeam could be the rewarding journey you’ve been waiting for.
What is Fostering
Fostering is a way to offer children and young people a safe, nurturing home while their own parents are unable to look after them. How long you care for the child depends on the type of foster care. It can range from one night to many years, or until the child is an adult.
Who can become a Foster Carer?
We need foster carers from a wide range of backgrounds, races and religion. This is because all children have their own unique and individual backgrounds and heritage. You do not need to be married, own a house or have children of your own. All you need is to have a spare bedroom and a loving and nurturing environment to give to the child.
Why Choose Sunbeam
At Sunbeam, we are proud of our standards and the help & support we provide to all our foster carers. Sunbeam offers up to £720 fostering allowance per child per week depending on children’s needs. Additionally, we pay other allowances, and our foster carers receive many other benefits while fostering with us. Apart from this, all our foster carers have 24-hour access to staff and support which is not just a promise but delivered 365 days per year. We offer a career path into social work and further national qualifications of fostering.
